I know, don't we all? But today was another of those so-scattered-it's-chaos days. In fact, when we finally had a chance to sit down this evening and catch our respective breaths, we had quite the discussion about what day of the week it was. I was sure it was Tuesday. He thought it was Monday. We briefly considered Wednesday, but of course it IS Tuesday. (I only know because the little computer calendar highlights it for me!)
So many odds'n'ends: some more things to the local charity shop. (Did I mention a while back that they will take the old VHS tapes but they will only take them in small lots as they sell slowly and shelf space is limited?) Half-a-dozen pairs of old shoes - there's a Brit charity that specifically wants old shoes. Washed some windows. Prepped more eBay stuff - so far, I've made about £30, which I think is around forty-two bucks. That's after the tiny payments to place the auctions plus P&P, which buyers pay for anyway.
What I have NOT done:
--not had any time to read, either for fun or in my friend's book
--not had time to email anybody, which bothers me a lot
--not had time to call a few people who are nearing red-alert stage
...and of course the ongoing packing and sorting and paperwork that continues unabated.
Oh, well, this too shall pass, eh? Bit by bit I'm working thru it, kind of like chipping away at diet, weightloss, fitness, health, etc. etc. etc.
Goodnight, Sparklers, wherever you are!
p.s. It's only a half-moon out there tonight, but oh so bright and clear--!
