I gained weight?

I'm doing well with sticking to my calories. I really dread having to plan out my whole week's food, but I'm so glad that I do. It makes sticking within my calorie range so much easier.
I did go overboard on Sunday when I went down to my mom's. She always has a huge stock of candies, cakes, chips, and all sorts of bad for you things, and I guess I just couldn't help myself. I even brought some Swiss Rolls home with me! (I did manage to fit one into my food yesterday without going over, though!)
My problem is that I've gained weight since I started! I gained about 3 pounds! I'm not sure if it's because I'm drinking more, or maybe because of a cold I got, or what. But it's very frustrating and almost made me throw in the towel yesterday.
I'm going to stick with it, though. I know this works if you just keep with it and let the process work.
