Today I saw a personal trainer, one on one, for the first time ever. We talked about my goals, we talked about what I am doing right, and what I can try. I had a fitness assessment and had my body fat measured. I was weighed and measured. I did 23 perfect toe pushups!
I was surprised (pleasantly actually) that my bodyfat percentage was 26.4%. I don't know what I thought it was going to be, but I figured it would be much more than that. It showed in the healthy category.
I was also pleased that she only mentioned one thing to tweak as far as what I am doing for exercise. She told me to add tabatas at the end of every workout. Other than that, the Fit Moms for Life dvds that we do in class are perfect workouts!
She also told me that when I come back in one month I have to bring in one month of perfectly recorded food journals. Doesn't mean I have to eat perfectly, just that I have to record every bite that goes into my mouth. She told me to use sparkpeople!
It was a very positive experience and I am excited to see what will happen in the coming month!
