I don't make a habit of blogging, and probably won't.....
But I wanted to wish all my Jewish friends a Blessed Passover and a Blessed Easter to the others. I pray it will be a time of reflection and renewal for all of you.
A few thoughts as the Easter holiday approaches:
* be careful with the Easter candy and desserts! Don't over-do it!
* keep Easter lilies out of the reach of your cats - they are poison to them!
* keep chocolate away from your dogs!
* please think long and hard before giving young children baby chicks or rabbits for Easter! It's a huge responsiblity and too often taken lightly and the animals suffer.

This is so true! Thanks! I was at the store today and the last cadbury egg had come unwrapped in the bottom of the box. Under my breath I said, "Guess it's not meant for me to have one this year." Caleb (who I thought hadn't heard me) said, "Mom you should have at least one you have been doing so good." Nope not one for mom this year, but he was sweet to comment on the fact that I was doing good. 3597 days ago

Ha ha my sister won two baby chickens when she was in the 5th grade. We lived in the city, raised them for a few weeks then took them to a farm to raise. We were just talking about that last week! 3599 days ago
