I knew there was something missing from my previous restart attempts.


Let me explain....

I have been sitting in Stage 3 of the SparkDiet.
This loosely translates into "I had actually forgotten about the SparkDiet Stages".

My weightloss has stalled.
This translates to "I have steadily been gaining weight".

My eating has been pretty good.
Translation: "I have only been going over my calorie range by 100-200 calories a day".

My exercise has been consistent.
Translation: "I have only been exercising twice a week. Easy exercise only."

I have been getting enough sleep.
Translation: "I work into the night fueled on coffee, sleep 6 hours, then need a nap after lunch".

So. Reality check blogged for all to see and comment on. Thanks RAVENSONG (Becky) for being so honest in your blogs and giving me the push I needed to look honestly at my own behaviour.

Honest Plan:

I have restarted the SparkDiet. Stage One: Fastbreaks!!
My fastbreaks are:

Walk every day.
Measure my portions.
Sleep 8 hours (at night).

This covers my main issues (lies) and I promise to faithfully stick to these fastbreaks for the next two weeks.

YES!! Fresh eyes really help on this journey. I am getting excited all over again.
Who will come along?? Would love to hear from anyone who has/or is doing the same thing!!

    What an excellent plan!!!! It's always so frustrating coming back after a particularly hard time. It always seems like we should do perfectly right away when really, we are starting over in a sense. Sure, we've learned things, but we need to give ourselves the same patience we did at the beginning.

    With all that's going on in your life, that is a totally doable fast break! I know you can do it. the sleep part might be the hardest though. My brain sometimes doesn't want to shut off, but oh well. You can do it!

    Hi there! How did I miss your blog? Didn't look hard enough. This is a good idea. I'm not sure I can start from scratch but I can be more careful (cocktails during the week, what am I thinking!) I went on vacation and must have thought I was still on vacation last week. I feel my appetite increasing and that is the worst! Fresh eyes are helpful. I am back to working out HARD, that really helps me stay focused. Try to work out hard when you do find time with your busy schedule. Lets be here and support one another! You can do it...and so can I!
