Candy (NOT) and.......Zumba!!!!

OK, here is what I was faced with walking past all day long.........
Did I partake? Oh heck no (patting on back as I type...I'm talented). I did try something else though. A different co-worker had a huge, like 2 lbs., jar of cocoa roasted almonds. OMG, they were good. I looked at the nutrition info: 28 almonds, 150 calories. WIN!!! I counted out the 28, snacked on them, and never touched the jar again. Call this a mental thing, but taking a picture of all that candy somehow helped me keep walking past it all day. Whatever it takes I guess :)
Tonight I decided to go to "my" lake for another nice long walk. As I was backing out of my driveway, it started to rain. So back in I went and headed straight for the DVD player. A few weeks ago I got a big collection of Zumba DVDs. So far I had only done the basic one which teaches the steps. And I will admit, that DVD has lots of pauses and slow steps in it. Well tonight it was time to step up the tempo with one of the real workouts. Not sure if I'm considered lucky or unlucky but I've never been one to sweat very easily. NOT a problem tonight!!! After 30 minutes I had sweat running down my face!!! If you have not tried Zumba, you need to. Fantastic workout and a lot of fun too.
Time to shower and get some rest (ya right, like that's gonna happen!!).
