Walking daily - The Adventure!

Monday, May 16, 2011

Ok, it as being pouring rain for the last 3 days and it will be raining again tomorrow and the day after! emoticon
Yesterday morning, I still went out side - I had some flower to plant - and so I spend almost an hour gardening, 'til I ran out of soil actually. It wasn't mush of a workout, but still, I did move outdoor... and at least the patio is now feeling like spring!

So, last night, as it was still raining - I decide that I would still be walking. As we were watching a Comic Award Show on tv, I step up and walk on every commercial breaks! DH was laughing the first few time - and I laugh with him as well but I kept the pace emoticon
The funny thing is the last day I walked outside, I was wondering how to manage my circuit so that I wont get bored with it. See, I live in a very small neighbour, next to an industrial area, not much fun to walk into. emoticon
Anyway, this morning, as it's getting colder and rainier, I played Kinect instead. I workout a very good sweat and cardio as well! emoticon
I'm very proud of myself here! I know it's not much, but it's the best I can do in order to keep this challenge fun to me.
Thanks to all of you for walking along! emoticon

Atta girl! There's ALWAYS a way to burn calories...jogging up and down stairs, doing sit-ups in commerical breaks while watching tv, as you said, playing kinect...don't they have Zumba for that game system? Do you like to dance? I've seen several Spark members blogs who have fallen in love with Zumba! It's latin dancing that burns a lot of calories and it's FUN!

PROUD OF YA SISTER!! Keep up the great creative work! emoticon emoticon emoticon
