Is Big Brother inside my scale?

OK...I stepped on the scale this a.m. Hopeful, but I'm not going to go crazy if it doesn't go down. Hooray! It went down & is now 1.5# above my goal ....and in a "new set of 10#'s" (that's what I call it when you dip down from 150's to the 140's, then to the 130's)
I was floating on air!!!!! I haven't seen this number for 2 years ---and then it was only for a nano-second (truly!!!!) and bounced back up again to bigger and bigger numbers for 2 years!
Frequently, my scale gives me a nice, low FALSE weight...then bounces back up to the correct weight. Soooo, just to be sure, I stepped on the scale at least 8 more times .... yep....the same, sweet, blessed, wonderful, low number was there...didn't move one iota! Yay!
Then I slyly thought: M-a-y-b-e I could skip my Leslie Sansone workout dvd today........"
To confirm what the previous 9 weigh-ins this morning said, I stepped on the scale just ...one.more.time. Apparently Big Brother scale heard my lazy thoughts. Bingo! UP a POUND! Out of the 130's ...back into the 140's.
So .... downstairs I went...weights in hand, HRM turned on, carrying water bottle & towel.....
Just for Brownie points, I worked longer & harder..75 min. of Leslie's dvd. When Leslie said, "just little kicks", I did BIG kicks. When she said, "nice and easy side steps, I did BIG, double steps" When it was time to cool down, I started it back in the middle of the workout... again. (My dh would confirm I don't follow directions very well! lol). I want to see that scale in the 130's again. I'm going to the gym this afternoon to push & pull heavy weights.
I'm convinced: Consistency, eating right & ST are the keys. And my dvd streak is intact....no blips, no excuses. Just consistent effort.
It's a fact: The scale is always the last to know. My baggy pants, belt hitched up to the last hole & dress sizes goin' down, down are the proof in the puddin'!
Who needs a schizophrenic scale that can't even make up its own mind?
Not me! All I need is SP!
