OK. So I have got quite a ways to go. I want to improve not only physically but be more organized and energetic for my husband and kids... I really want to be home with my kids more but working with family members complicates things :C. I love my job and my patients but I feel like that has something to do with my issues controlling my weight. I am gone from 7-7pm and we are constantly either eating out or eating at my sister in laws house eating sandwiches and chips and sodas. I need to have wayyy more control!! Ok! I think I need to start a daily schedule to help me get started. Here goes:

=Wake Up, Wash Face Brush Teeth
=Start Insanity Workout
Shower
=Blow Dry and Straighten Hair
=Makeup
=Get Dressed
Eat Breakfast
Get Kids Dressed
Wash Breakfast Dishes

I guess I need to figure out how to become superwoman and still have time to spend with my family.

I also want to learn how to make a LOT more things from scratch that are diabetic friendly because of my hubby. I think it would be fine for all of us :)
Wish me luck!

Thank you all so much for your words of encouragement! I honestly wasn't expecting anyone to read this! I would be lost without schedules lol! Do any of you have long commutes also?

You can do it! A schedule should help as well as planning easy and quick meals ahead of time so you are not as tempted to resort to fast food. SP has great recipes and they have calories counts and will transfer right into your food tracker. Good luck and keep up the great work!

Starting with a checklist is a great idea because it will keep you on task & you won't forget to do anything either!! It's definitely hard to not eat for convenience when you don't have a lot of time. That was really hard for me too. But even fast food places have healthy choices now...you just have to choose them! Good luck on your journey!

The schedule is a great first step. The food tracker will amaze you! Yes, it is kind of a pain at first. Once you load up your favorite foods, it gets pretty easy. I could not believe how much stuff I was eating through the day. Once I got tracking, I made some simple substitutions, slightly healthier or smaller portions of unhealthy stuff, and soon I was eating much better and losing weight!

You can do it! Exercise doesn't have to be treadmills and gyms. Playing with the kids can teach them good habits and help you out too!!

    Have a great journey!
