I can remember preparing last years challenge for the upcoming Memorial Day and urging us all to kick off for what is for many of us the official start of summer - A good time for new beginnings and to refresh our journeys towards healthier lifestyles.
How will you start off the official first summer holiday? Personally, I am a firm believer in being prepared both physically and mentally. This is why I love Spark so much, it allows me to develop goals - both long term and short term that build the consistency and balance I so crave in my life to keep making progress.

Some ways to be ready for this week-ends BBQ:
Cut down a little on what you eat every day before the cookout so you can eat more that day?
Control your portions so you don't eat more than you should at the barbeque?
Increase your exercise a little every day before and after to compensate for what you may eat?
Or just take the day, relax, and trust that you've learned a better lifestyle over these weeks and months so you'll adapt to whatever food and drinks are available?
