MAY VANISHED RIGHT BEFORE MY EYES...but the lbs. and cellulite and pity are sooooo visible.

March-May was a very trying time in my life...rocky time on the old job...which led me to go on a job hunt...I submitted my cover letter and app March 4th and endured 4 interviews lasting a total of 8 hours...while maintaining at home, and at the VERY STRESSFUL old job.

On May 9th, I was offered my very first Principalship of a K-8 building with 1100+ students and over 60+ staff members. It was a blessing from on high because I "thought" and was told that I was being considered to be an Asst. Principal with the district. WOWSER. Thank you Jesus for favoring me!!!!

WELP fast-forward to now...after being mentally in two places at one time...closing one book (and eating whatever/without ANY exercise) and beginning another...I start my new job July 1st. On the first day of school, 8.8.11 (which happens to be my 36th bday) I will ROCK my "CONTINUOUSLY TRIMMING" figure and perform my job with the confidence that I need to succeed.

I REPEAT TO MYSELF...Stress is REAL. Living a well-balanced life is a must...There is only one YOU. I have to take care of ME...I'm a wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, friend. As a new principal God gave me what He determined long ago that I could handle...I AM StableFitNFed.

Congratulations on your new position! Your walk with God will help you to be a fair and just leader.

I am an educator too! All jobs can be stressful. Having positive parental involvement is very important and helpful. Yet, it is something that is seldom seen.

I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers as we start the 2011-2012 school year.

    God Bless,

What was intended for bad has worked out for your good. You should have known all that stress you were going through was in preparation for your higher calling. Nothing but the emoticon trying to keep you from walking into your blessing.
