Trying to find the balance; Setting new goals

Ok, so, I've been MIA for a few months now. At the end of April, I was offered a job (YIPPEE). Since then, my eating habits, water consumption, and exercise has been left at the wayside. In a few weeks, life will start to become normal as I will have my regular work schedule established. Like most new nurses, I am working 3rd shift. It's been hard for me to get used to, but I am managing. What I can't figure out is when I should go to the gym... It would be easy to say I should go on my days off since I do three 12 hour shifts a week. However, I feel guilty about leaving my daughter. I have spent a year and a half staying home with her every day, and since I've started my job I do not see her at all 3 days a week.
I need to find balance between family, work, and a healthy lifestyle! Tons of people do it, so I know I can too!
New goal #1: Drink no less than 64 oz of water every day.
New goal #2: Get to the gym once a week for the next 4 weeks.
