UV Project Week 2 Report and other stuff.

Get your exercise on!
Take your fitness minutes from last week and increase them by 10% this week! Yay for math! )
~I probably could have done better this week. I didn’t increase my total minutes by 10% but I uped my running intervals to 4 minutes and that is progress. I also ran around my the neighborhood - hills!

Beachy ST- time to work on that bikini body!!
Choose a part of your beach body that you want to work on the most and work it like never before! (arms, abs, legs, butt) How many squats, crunches, pushups can you do? Choose an exercise that works for you that will make you really sore!
~Yikes I could have done way better on this than I did.L I was hoping to continue my boot camp-like routine with a different muscle group on each day. I missed 2 days. What’s really sad about my ST routine is that I have a decent weight bench (well the hubbs does) and one of those irongym door things so I could be rockin’ it… I’ll get there! I joined the 28 day boot camp - I’ve completed it before but it really keeps me accountable.

Get outside and play! Run around, hula hoop, play frisbee, etc- do some thing that makes you feel young, sexy and fun!
~I did my running outside - I always do but it makes me feel sexy. . Played outside with my boys a few times and at my niece’s 2nd birthday party.

In other news. LOL - I’m running 4 minute intervals - so cool. It feels great and I am giddy about it! I finally got my running shoes. I tried on a bunch and though I had ‘decided’ on the Merrell Pace Gloves I couldn’t find a pair in my size to try on. And I’m not about to spend $100 on shoes that I can’t try on and I’m just not patient enough to wait for delivery from zappos. I found a pair of really comfortable Sauconys and I’m happy, so are my feet.





Tuesday night was my friend's birthday and we went to the casino's buffet - fortunately it was all you can eat seafood night. I loaded up my plate with dungeness crab - three plates and all I ate was about 1 1/2 crab, a few clams and mussels, a salad and some steamed veggies. Now that's how to handle a buffet - more shell than food - lol! I even splurged and got to have a scoop of ice cream. I got to dance the night away without feeling stuffed or bloated in my new skinny jeans! Yeah!

I weighed in at 138 yesterday which is my lowest weight since I got pregnant with my 9 year old. I'm in the 130's baby - YEAH!!

    I hate fish but that salad looks soooo good. Makes me want to try it and see if I'd like seafood if it was prepared differently.

    emoticon Great Blog, I love it! Love the pics of ur new shoes, new recipe and your friends! Congratulations on being in the 130s. It is so amazing to me too to get on that scale and see 138 and not 155! Soooo freaking happy :) I am so scared that I will wake up from this dream lol. I Had a great sunday, but I am ready to kick some butt this week, and focus on my cals, and gettign in 5 days of exercise. We each have 8 lbs to go, that's nothing! Let's do this!! emoticon
