Snow Cardio/Venting/Elder

Monday, February 19, 2007

Well Feb. 14th adn 15th were snow days. I shoveled snow on Wed for 3 hours and on Thursday for 4 hours. I burned lots and lots of calories but the scale still did not move. I was still 196 on Satruday morning. I jumped on the scale this morning and it was 194.5 - I was so excited. Now I just have to maintain that weight for the week. Wish me luck.

Now just a little venting: My "friend" (in quotes because I'm ready to dis-freind him) took my bathroom apart in Septemeber because I had a leak at the tub. So my bathroom has been gutted (except the toilet) since September. Then the week before Thanksgiving he took out the toilet. So now there is nothing in the room. (I live in a duplex that my mom owens so I am using her bathroom - don't worry I am still bathing!) It is now February and he has still not made any progress. The floor is ripped up and he has some pipes laid down but nothing! I bought everything new for the bathroom - tub, toilet, sink, pipes, etc. I cannot get him to work on it.

We started "re-dating" last February and everything was great. But lately I want to get rid of him. I deserve better. He has two childern whom he has every weekend (which is great for him and them). I feel like I am not a proiorty for him and just a friend of convenience. I've had it. But I have to get my bathroom fixed. I unfortnately do not have any money to hire someone to fix it. I guess you get what you paid for. I don't know what to do!

Ok enough for now. I'll keep you posted.

OH and on a GREAT note - I became and elder for my church on Sunday Feb. 18th. It is a great honor and I am truly looking forward to my new role in the church.
