For a couple of months now, I do a 30 min walk every morning.
Everyday, a surprise rewards this routine. Today, there were many surprises I wish I could share with you.
Our town is well renown for her August Hot-air Balloon Festival. So, it's not unusual to see some of them just floating around in the sky. But, if you're familiar with these, you'll know that they usually fly early in the morning or late on the afternoon (around 6 o'clock). In my neighbourhood, trees are high, so it's quite a chance when you get to see one. For the last week, I saw one 4 days in a row!
Shining Morning Dew
As I walk early, the light of the rising sun makes the morning dew sparkle on the grass. It's like their was diamonds all over the place. It's just beautiful.
Yes, I live next to a small, urban park and in that park lives a bunny. A young brown bunny that sometimes comes into our backyard. It may be weeks before we see it again. This morning, he seems to be awaiting for me. It just stood there in the park. Seeing a bunny that close makes me feel like a kid again. It automatically puts a smile in my face. TG for bunnies :)
and having no control
A few weeks ago, I was looking for summer classes, in order to loose those extra pounds last winter left me with. I was interested in Yoga-Pilates and Zumba class. At first, both schools toll me that it wasn't sure the class would start, unless the group get bigger.
Last Monday, I was told that I could trade Yoga-Pilates for an Intermediate Pilates Class, occurring every thursday morning. Since I haven't heard yet from the Zumba instructor, I enrolled in that class. The level is quite high for me, but I really am motivated.
So much that I took a serie of appointments with my good friend Suzanne to do some cycling ride every tuesday morning in order to reach my goal of having 2 sessions of workout per week.
Well, you guest it, the Zumba class is on at the same day, same time.
Conclusion : no matter how you try or want to control things, they have their own way of rearranging your life. So, let's just all go with the flow
