Awesome food but struggling with HUNGER
Saturday, July 16, 2011
Man, I'm hungry all the time. When you cut calories way back after years of eating almost twice that, you're stomach doesn't let you forget it! Gurgling, growling, and sharp pains are what great me about 2 hours after eating most of my meals. My mother, a nurse, says that's normal and should go away once my stomach gets used to the new portion sizes. I'm ready for those feelings to go away NOW!
Last night I made the most delicious Moroccan stew I've had since first trying it in France at my great aunt's house. Hers is better, obviously, but mine came pretty close in flavor and texture. It's freakishly healthy, vegan, full of vegetables and protein - pretty much my favorite meal ever. I just ate a big ol' bowl for lunch and I feel AWESOME.
Some light Wii fit today. I didn't really feel like getting too active. Don't want to push myself and fall off the wagon!
Afternoon edit: I just finished watching an awesome documentary called _Double Dare_ about stuntwomen. Wonder Woman and The Bride from Kill Bill's stuntwomen are featured, and they are kick-ass, healthy and working hard! It really inspired me. It's on Netflix instant if you want to check it out.
Peace and love, ya'll.
