Something's Fishy ...

Saturday, July 30, 2011

Of course, by now, I've learned not to trust the scale! But it does seem kind of 'fishy' that the silly scale (which I have named Ben - for Benedict Arnold, the turncoat!) is trying to tell me that I've lost 2 pounds this week.

Alright - so I've had family visiting all week. I love family visiting, but it does have a way of throwing a kink into my regular daily routines, like: exercising, choosing to eat 'appropriately', reasonable bed time, tracking, drinking water, and the rest of the rut ... err... routine that we serious 'Sparkers' try to maintain.

And yet, good old Ben is saying that I've lost 2 pounds. Could it be that I've been going about this diet thing all wrong???

I've heard it said that "If you want to gather honey, don't kick over the beehive" ... so if Ben says that I've lost 2 pounds, I'm going to do all I can this week to prove him right!!!

Hey, I say "TAKE IT!" We don't see a loss as often as we should, unfortunately....so if my scale offers up a loss, whether or not I feel I deserve it, Woo Hoo!
