Oh, let's start with the miserable recap and get the nasty stuff out of the way.
3 flying trips to my mother's on health issues - two being ER days. I think the biggest issue is she lives alone and dwells too much. It would be nicer for both of us if we had a better relationship, but try as I might, she is a non-participant when it comes to giving to a relationship. This causes me much stress and guilt and I have a hard time putting it in perspective.
Then there was Sam. My beloved boy. I still can't go back to it so suffice to say, my heart is still mending. Still causing me some moments of teary grief, but life is calmer in the house on many issues.
That was July and I hope to not have a repeat.

Organized a new workout schedule, Went to the makeup store and bought me some goodies, reset my sparkpage, made a walk date for work - 4 things - ALL for me and new for Aug.

Get the measuring tape back out.

1. did a 17 min mi on the tread (good for me) 2. Stayed in my range. 3. had ayogurt over ice cream 4. had roasted veggies when I really wanted corn on the cob.

Started the 8 Week Battle #12 - I have done this one twice before. The first of the two was really good, the second round - not so much. Decided to try it again. This is a challenge where I just participate - don't have to worry about pleasing people or taking care of too much. It is a just for me thing.
Took the Fitness Test and did better than expected. Have publicly declare my fresh start. Talked to a gal at WW about walking at lunch - my work partner is not into hot weather and neither am I but I MUST do this.
Took a hard look at why I am where I am and what to do about it. I know I have "restarted" a million times and while this may end up no better than before, bottom line - I am still trying. I have not given up.

This is a basic MUST DO list for every day and with this I think I will get where I want to be.
