There's more progress to look at than the scale.

Saturday, August 20, 2011

I just realized that even though the scale hasn't budged (I don't think it has, actually I've stopped looking), I have attained some really important milestones.

1) I'm staying with this program, and haven't gotten tired of it;
2) I'm in stage 4 of my jog/walk training and am jogging 16 of the 23 total minutes 3 times a week;
3) (You ladies can appreciate this one) Yesterday I had to hook my bra in the next smallest hook! Yea!!!

Now I call that progress.

    Try not to get hanged up on the scale. Try on clothes that were to tight!! You will see that slowly but surely things will happen!!!! emoticon

    Yep, you keep jogging like that and the scale will only tell the story part of the time, as we've discussed back and forth before. As a guy, I have to say that's a shame about the bra hooks, but that's just the male chauvenist pig point of view. LOL

    You go girl! The real goal is fat loss; weight is only a proxy, because weight is easy to measure. It isn't always the right measure.

    Great consistency. Weight loss isn't the only measure of healthy living as you've learned. Losing inches is great motivation for staying the course of healthy living.

    Yay! Now you're talkin' like a SP lifestyle change person --- unlike a temporary dieter! Congrats on all the progress! Those are important milestones!!!!!

    Keep up the great work!
