Getting back on track...now I need to stay there!

I lost a pound at my daughter's and have lost another pound since I've been home on Wednesday. Not sure these are really pounds gone or just fluctuations. We'll see. I am tracking food daily, cutting back portions and eliminating some foods that I know aren't helping the weight loss. I am trying to get back into consistent workout routine. That's not been as easy as the food but I will keep pushing ahead!!!!
I'm a little concerned as we are heading to the beach on Thursday with some dear friends for a long weekend. This is a very difficult trip for me as they LOVE to eat out. A couple of years ago, my hubby and I said we couldn't eat out lunch and dinner---we both gained weight on these "little" trips. So we'll eat salad or sandwich while they go out for lunch. That's worked better for us but dinner out every night is still difficult. I have a hard time with peer pressure or what people think. So I find myself ordering food I don't need--making the good choices are hard for me in these situations. I will try again on this trip.
My August has been as busy as July was and I'm about done with this kind of a schedule. I want to get back into my rut for a while!!!
