Some records should NOT be broken

Thursday, September 01, 2011

It has now officially been the hottest summer here on record. The record was 50 days of 100 or above degrees and today made it 51 days. Not only did it hit 100 (before noon!!) but it made it all the way to 108. This record will be short lived since the next two days are forecasted for 105 and 101. This is getting old!!!!

It has been a very hot and very dry summer in north MS, too. We aren't in the 100s anymore but it is still hot & humid. Zaps the energy right from you. Be careful outdoors and stay hydrated!!!!
