Day 258: The Eyes Have (Had) It

It being Thursday it was grocery day, then this afternoon the annual eye exam. Is it just me, or are the eyedrops for dilating pupils different from what they used to be?

I think they're downright painful, and I don't remember them being bothersome at all. I don't know if the formulation has changed or if it's something to do with age, blood pressure... Who knows.

At any rate, even hours later they are still dilated, making bright lights a major nuisance, and my eyes just feel (for lack of a better word) tired.

I'd say 'More tomorrow,' but tomorrow's blog may be short too: morning is a blood test, later is the knee x-ray, and in the afternoon another meeting with a paving contractor. Be still, my heart.
