Computer issues with Internet explorer

Sure wish I was more computer savy
Yesterday I was doing my regular spark routine through aol mail using internet explorer when my mail left me with blank lines. I figured it was about time I updated to IE 8 , hoping this would solve the problem. I have yet been able to open my mail the way I was so famaliar with.

Can't go cold turkey without spark so I briefly came in the back door but I was determined to get back to my regular routine (creature of habit I am) and kept trying to open my mail - no luck.

I had downloaded the google chrome browser so decided to give that a try and after hours it finally let me open my aol mail. Now, I have no idea if aol is undergoing changes or if internet explorer has changed that drastically.

I do know I can't blame it on spark which I think many of us can identify with.

Any feedback from computer literates appreciated. I am having a tech come out to set up my wireless router so I will assume they will have to explain to me what is going on.

So my friends, if I disappear it is not by choice.
