Happy First Day of Fall
Fall is a great time to start or rejuvenate your spark program. Use the change of season as a motivator to rethink and restart or for some continue on making progress. Let's start establishing those healthy habits now before holiday time is upon us and also the winter weather.
I had written a blog in January challenging all to make this the best year yet. I hope you all have been making progress BUT it is never to late to begin. Let's use September just like it is a new year.
Let's get motivated toi have our best fall yet.
Some ideas to get started (or continue on):
1. Take advantage of the weather - It is a beatiful time of year to walk, hike, and run. Personally I love apple picking and am looking forward to the new Spark cookbook for new ideas to bake with my apples. Believe it or not I love raking leaves - as I am outdoors I just soak up the fall sunshine and dazzling colors of the changing leaves. Fitness doesn't have to be boring or seem like a chore to be a great workout.
What is your favorite fall activity?
2. Shake up your routine a bit - Let's make fall an opportunity to learn something new before the rush of holidays storm us. Is there a fitness activity you have wanted to participate in like Zumba, yoga, or dancing? Perhaps you have wanted to take a class or begin a new hobby? Fall is a great time to explore your community parks or visit beaches.
What are we waiting for - what new activity do you want to try or how will you think outside the box to not become stagnant?
3. Television - yup, you heard me right. The new fall lineup of tv shows begin, so why not schedule in some fitness time along with your favorite show. It can be done - even if it is between commercials. So grab your water and those stretch bands, jump rope, or weights before heading for the coach.
What is your favorite fall show and how will you incorporate at least 10 minutes of fitness in?
It has been said that every good sermon has 3 points so stay tuned for future tips.
What are your tips to become restored and energized for fall?

Are you with me

Again I challenge you to make this your healthiest fall yet.
