My Role

Sunday, September 25, 2011

I recently took a full time job. As of now, it a temporary position, but they like me and are trying to find the funds to keep me on. Honestly??? I don't know how I feel about that! LOL I'm enjoying the money, making bigger payments towards our finances, but work is a time sucker!!!! I know many of you are rolling your eyes to the back of your head, and for that I apologize. I liked being a stay at home mom with no kids... working on getting my trophy wife bod. And I wasn't bored!!! People have a hard time with that apparently. I didn't even watch Soaps if you can imagine! emoticon

So, now with my job, I've had a hard time adjusting to my time management. I need to push my self and get to the gym after work, because I don't want to get up any earlier than I already do and go to the gym in the morning. 5 am is early enough, Thank You! So, even if I went for 30 min 2-3x's a week, that would be a good start. I just gotta see if DH is down with that. This has been quite an adjustment for him as well, as you can probably imagine. He's used to having a little personal assistant that can take care of stuff during the day!

So, I really just wanted to say that while I did drop from my leadership role, and it WILL take me a bit to adjust to my new schedule, I am committed to Spark and to our San Antonio team!

I still AM a SAHM with no kids! But, that is going to change for me too. So, I guess we will just have to put our big-girl panties on and figure out how to deal with our new schedules! I know you will get into a groove, and you will find what works for you. *HUGS*

I loved being a stay at home mom with no kids to!! At least you're getting paid though. It's getting harder and harder to wake up @ 6am and go to my internship. I've been struggling with finding time to workout to. I'm not a morning person, so waking up early aint gonna happen for me either. But we need to buckle down and do this! Let me know if there is anything I can do to help!
