Okay, so I didn't get to make the French's Crunchy Onion Chicken yesterday but, I made it tonight and it was so good! My dad even liked it and he doesn't always like food made by other people except his mom. My mom and husband both liked it as well. I did seasoning to mixture though to give it a little extra flavor and I'm glad I did because without it, it probably would had been bland. (And being from the south, we have to have our flavor!) I served it with steamed green beans and it complimented the chicken well. I would also recommend to have extra French's Fried Onions because if you accidently get chicken breasts that are a tad bit too big then it will only cover about 3 chicken breasts. It's better to be safe than sorry though or cut the chicken into strips. I think I am going to make it into strips next time so we don't have to cut the breasts up to feed 4 people. I would recommend this to everyone and it will definitely make an appearance at our dinner table again! Oh, and for dessert I had hot chocolate with Ghirardelli hot cocoa and made it will milk which was also a big hit! My husband made me promise to make him some more tomorrow! I'm also thinking about getting the Sparkpeople cookbook but the stores around my house are already sold out and won't get the next shipment until next week. We got a South Beach diet cookbook and there are several recipes in there we want to try. Are there anymore cookbooks that y'all like to use? I'm a big recipe/cookbook person. :)

See I like the South Beach diet cook book for the all the recipes except for the fish ones because I don't like fish. So, I'm looking for cook books that offer other healthy meal recipes for chicken, turkey, or beef. I'm not to the throw it together type cook yet. There are certain things like egg salad or homemade mac and cheese, and a few other things but, since I'm still learning how to really cook I still follow the recipes.

I'm not much of a cookbook/recipe kind of person. I tend to be a throw-together cook. But, if I was, I'd recommend the South Beach diet book. It has tons of recipes in it, even if you don't choose to follow the actual diet. I noticed that you have it already. Good choice.

What I like about it is its emphasis on "good carbs" and "good fats", and the way it limits simple carbs, such as white flour products, sugars, and starchy vegetables.
