Day 301: On the Mend
Friday, October 28, 2011
The shoulder is enough better that we got groceries today. I was careful not to lift anything with my right arm, and Himself did most of the loading and unloading of the car. It's marginally better than yesterday, but I won't be lifting my arm above my head for a while.
I tried to keep flexing it today, because I'm concerned about losing the range of motion my arm should have - did have. The only real fitness I did today was chair marching, which is fine insofar as it goes, but most of the online demonstrations and clips do a more complete workout, involving movement of arms and hands, plus reaching and stretching overhead, etc. I simply marched, toe-tapped, and followed them without moving my arms.
And that's basically it from me. The typing is still somewhat more difficult - not that I move my arm a lot when I type, but my best guess is that some of the finger motion in my hand pulls or tugs on arm muscles to some extent, and that's, well, uncomfortable. Not painful, but uncomfortable.
Thanx for all your good vibes. I do believe they're helping, and the emotional support from you is the best medicine of all, to my mind.
Goodnight, Sparklers, wherever you are!
