Weigh in and Measurements for 18 Nov 2011 + Thanksgiving decision

This was a tough week for me. It actually felt weird to NOT exercise. (not the way I'm used to) In fact my fitness tracker told me on Wednesday after the doctor's appointment that I was over my fitness goals for the week!
I definitely wasn't sedentary though. The numbers this week show a weight loss and I am pleasantly surprised. Not just because I did not exercise as much, but also since it's my "X" week I thought I would be retaining water. Maybe I'm not because I was crying on Wednesday after finding out about my knee injury....
So the numbers are:
Weight: Down almost a kilo (1.9 pounds)
Hips: Down 1/2 cm
Waist: +2cm (not sure why that happened, could be an "X" week factor)
Thigh: +1 cm (swelling maybe?)
Upper arm: same
I live in Sweden and tomorrow we will celebrate Thanksgiving. I always do it the Saturday before the real Thanksgiving in the states because it makes me so home sick when all of my family calls me on Thursday to wish me a Happy Thanksgiving and I'm not there with them.
So today is the "day before" for me and I will be baking all the pies and preparing things. Busy busy day.
I decided that I would NOT track my food tomorrow. I don't want to have that stress or guilt. Portion control is already on my conscious so I believe I will make good choices tomorrow. At least I know they will be WAY better than the last 35 Thanksgivings :) I feel good about my decision and I know I have not "given up", just made one choice. Is it the best choice? Maybe not, but it's MY choice.
