Day 343 - Cleaning House

I mean literally cleaning house. We're off and out a couple of times this weekend, but I want to keep the house spiffy now that it's cleaned up - we tend to have 'drop ins' as much as guests responding to invitations. And when we're making the rounds I don't have time to keep after the day-to-day stuff, let alone spit'n'polish.

I've mentioned it here before - and no, this isn't a plug - that one of the teams I belong to is the Organized Life team. I'm not organized, which is why I joined the team: I'm always looking for pointers.

In addition, I have some books... check magazines now and then... and of course browse the internet. Yesterday I came across this article:

Like so many of these things I don't take the plan at face value. I use what works for me, change things around to suit myself, etc. But the idea that I can keep on top of basic-cleaning-maintenance in less than an hour daily is waaay appealing.

Other than that, I've spent the day immersed in genealogy. One of these days I should pursue an actual certificate and see if I can make a hobby pay.
