I've been slacking on my GYM duties, so let me tell you why!
Wednesday, I subbed all day in the high school, had an oil change/tire rotation, came home to let my babies eat dinner and run while I ate dinner, then off to the gym I was gonna go!
Well our German Shepherd had other plans... he was so excited and we were playing, like always, but he headbutted me just right and... broke my nose!
God love him though, he knows he did something because he won't stop licking my nose! LOL I wasn't mad, nor am I now... I am the only one who has really found it funny! My mom insisted I go have it checked out at the ER just to make sure it was nothing more than a broken nose! I swelled and bruised immediately! So I did and it's just two nasal bone fractures. What can ya do?
However, this has left me with a slight headache for the rest of the week, so between the headache and the occasional codeine the doctor gave me, I figured the gym wasn't the best place for me until Monday!
I haven't ate horrible though, not great either! Tonight however I had a delicious dinner.
I was going to grab takeout from Olive Garden because I have a gift card, but I changed my mind and baked some fish, corn and brown rice! It was very yummy. I normally salt and pepper my vegetables but because I'm trying to avoid sale [not that the burger king I had for dinner proves that...] I have started using this...
it make a nice replacement for salt! I just sprinkle a little bit on my corn or spinach or whatever vegetable I'm eating and it tastes wonderful! It's salt free and all natural.
On a very happy note though! I've lost 4 pounds since my husband went back to Afghanistan. So my proportions and 'diet' are paying off! The gym will too once I get my bum in a routine and not just go once or twice a week!
