No more XL!!

Monday, March 12, 2007

I posted this on the 3rd and accidentally unchecked the private entry box!

I've started doing a Denise Austin BLAST AWAY dvd. 3 15 min/mile walking workouts. A nice change from the treadmill and I definitely feel worked out when I'm done. I've hit another one of those lovely plateaus so I'm trying to step up my cardio and exercise. Being under the weather for a week didn't help, but now I am raring to go again and BLAST AWAY some more of these pounds and inches!

Thursday morning I decided to try on my size 14 corduroy skirt that has been hanging in my closet longer than my size 16 wool wrap skirt. And it FIT! I felt it was a little snug in the hips, but it's stretch corduroy so it soon gave in and let me have a little more room. :) Dad said it looked great so I believed him and let myself FEEL great wearing it. I'll have hubby take a picture of me in it. I love this skirt and have looked at it longingly many times. I had been wearing the same skirt in a size 18 and that about falls off me now and drags on the floor when I put it on. YEAH!

So I wore this skirt to town and decied to try some tops on. I had to go back and get size L because XL was too big! You'd think I bought a Toyota "Oh what a Feeling!" Little steps little successes, but each one seems HUGE when you get there. My Ashley came home Thursday night and when I came down in my workout shorts and tank Friday morning she said "Mom! You're so SMALL!" mmm another HUGE. :) Hardly small, but definitely smallER.

Going to meet Bri and do some baby shopping today. yeeHA! :)
