repost of dec 31st 2011 plus additions

Last day of 2011 I decided to end my friendship with Tara; the one i blogged about. She always finds something to criticize or complain about. And yesterday when she mentioned saying something to her mother about me I thought i don't need them two gossiping about me when i am not there. Got my goals set up for the new year. Number 1 is to drink more water and less coffee. Wish me luck! Two is to eat more fruit and veggies. 3 is to try and keep the house clean and organized. 4 is to try and read all the books I have. 5 is to remember to take all my pills every day. 6 is to be more consistent in my bible study and prayer time. Which is a hard one seeing i get side tracked by a messy kitchen. 7 is to finish cleaning and organizing the cupboards; especially the spice and herb one. 8 is to try and write more poetry or stories. 9 is to continue looking for jobs. 10 is to eat a healthy breakfast every day.
I am doing good on the veggies, and water but I messed up on my pills.

    Catching up on your blogs. Wow. That is quite a list. #4,7,8,&9 are on mine, too. Quite daunting. Got to remember, Baby steps, consistent baby steps. I'm sure you're as familiar with Philippians 4:13 as I am. Keep asking for the grace we need to accomplish our goals. Sorry you've had such a run of things breaking. emoticon

    I am also trying to drink more water. I don't drink coffee, but way more diet soda than a person should. I don't know if you like smoothies, but that is a good way to get more fruit into your day. I used to drink one every morning for breakfast, and got away from them, but started again on the 1st. It also helps me get more protein into my diet.

    I don't know about you, but I always find something that "needs" my attention more than housework. That is by far my least favorite thing to do.
