Chilly Day Walk --- But beating the Snow

Tuesday, January 17, 2012

Today I did a long walk. It was chilly (26*F) and breezy. I managed to get over 10,000 steps today. It started to snow when I had about 3/4 mile left of my walk.
It was very invigorating, it got rid of my migraine & I got caught up on my cardio for the week. Winter is supposed to arrive sometime tomorrow afternoon with a serious snow storm through Wednesday --- so I'm glad I got my long walk in ahead of the storm. We haven't had any snow to speak of all winter so I'm sure this will catch everyone's attention.
It also means the next few days will probably be done indoors --- but that's OK.

Way to go on getting your walk in. We have snow where I live and I haven't been walking much because it is too slippery.

We have had the cold and then warm to melt just about all the snow we have gotten. Then the snow returns and it begins all over again.

I am glad you got your walk in before the snow hit. I used to walk in the winter outside but after my fall I am a bit scared to walk because of falling and breaking any more bones. So congrats on you being out there!
