Staying on track and Pumpkin Mac and Cheez
Monday, January 23, 2012
So yesterday, I decided to make some pumpkin macaroni and cheeze. Not a good idea. I LOOOOOOVE pasta in any form. Mac and cheez, spaghetti, angel hair. Yum! But the recipe was featured on The PPK's 100 Best in 2011 list. (
www.theppk.com/2012/01/t
he-post-punk-kitchen-100/ ) It was done by Oh She Glows who is awesome and is the reason I know what a green smoothie is. All I have to say is YUM. (Heres the link to the recipe:

Then for dinner, I met my family (parents, brother, brother's girlfriend and her son, grandma and my husband) for dinner at Red Robin. Red Robin has Vegan Boca Burgers. And they have an allergen guide so you can make sure what you are ordering doesn't have dairy or eggs, or whatever. So that's what I get. And I got sweet potato fries. Here's the thing, I ate mainly my sandwich slowly with a few fries. I stopped when I got full and left about half of the fries in my basket. Normally, I would keep eating because they were there. I was proud of myself when we left the restaurant. And even prouder when I figured out how many calories I saved on Red Robin's nutrition site.
All in all, I ended the day with my calorie range. Woot! Woot!
