revelation in God's word

I am so thankful for a new day and for grace and mercy. So thankful for all that I am learning and for the new friends I have made along the way.

I am working on the Beth Moore Bible study of Daniel and am being convicted. She referenced I Timothy 4:8 today. "bodily discipline is only of little profit, but godliness is profitable for all things, since it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come"

Life is hard and decisions we make daily affect the quality of life we live. But i need to remember to not spend so much time and energy on this physical body and neglect my spiritual. duh!

Lord i pray for your strength and wisdom in daily decisions i choose to make. Help me to not get so wrapped up in the little things that don't matter so much. Keep my focus on you and help me to live in the moment. Today i choose JOY!
