2nd day at the gym

I walked in a bit more confident today than yesterday. I bought myself a heart gift because on Friday, it will be 14 years since I had my heart surgery. I bought the yellow/gold ipod shuffle on sale at Target. I figured it was a gift for my ears and my heart because I'd use it while working out. I thought I deserved the splurge since money is short lately.

Anyways, back to the gym. I think I didn't plan out my breakfast as well as I should have. I got there and I really wasn't feeling it. But I knew if I left that I would be pissed at myself for squandering this opportunity. I started on the elliptical and I about died! Though I was happy to see that all of the bikes and ellipicals are tv equip. I watched the food network lol! So I started on the elliptical for 10 min, then I walked around, then onto a treadmill for 15 min, then I walked around and looked at the stationary bike, did that for 10 min. I just really couldn't get into it. I gave up when I had wondered into a sitting workout class that was filled with older people and I couldn't keep up. I walked out of there and went back on the bike for 36 min. I feel sore today and that makes me happy.

Before I went to the gym, I went to Burger's Bagels and got my 3 free Bday bagels. Then to the ATM, gas station, Target, then the gym. After that I went to Cub and Costco. I left the house at 7:30 and didn't get home until 12:45. All ambition is gone as I drink my tea. Love!

    I wait a hour after I've eaten a actual meal before I head in. With the workout, it was more "if I keep moving, no one will notice me." I just have to talk to a trainer and get myself into a nice rut. Thank you for all of your help!

    It takes a bit of experimenting to work out what to eat before the gym. And even then your body can change its mind! If it helps, I eat a piece of toast with peanut butter as my preworkout breakfast, or some nuts if I go in the afternoon.

    Also, I equipment jump too. I get bored. I do 10min on each machine. I also get my boyfriend to upload movies and TV shows onto my ipod, and I watch those while I workout!
