Ugh I do need some help after all...

So I broke my toes on 23 Dec 2011 and my exercise regime went up in smoke (along with my rogue TV). I did as much as I could for most of January however February I lost it. Literally.

I weighed in today. 73kg. I am so down about it. Part of me wants to just give up but luckily for me there is a part of me which will never, never, never give up...however... I do need some help to get back in my running shoes and out the door!

Please keep me accountable by sending me messages or writing on my page - any of you as if I get msgs in the middle of the night I will wake up to them!

Bubbles is already texting me but as I am not getting my A into G I feel like I am letting her down too!!

Is anyone up for this??

    *hugshard* make sure to work yourself back up slowly, ok? C25K sounds like an awesome place to start. Do 2 weeks of C25K, then reaccess and see if you can start adding back in something else. Don't try to do it all in one step, OK? xoxoxoxoxoxxoxoxxoxoxoxo

    Ohhh, I'm there too! I hurt myself back in early September and got completely off track! And even though I'm all healed now, I still can't get back to it. And my weight is climbing too :-( I like Pam's idea of 15 minutes as day of ANYTHING. As long as it's movement. So consider yourself accountable!

    How did you break your toes, anyway?

    Oh, girlie, I have so been in your shoes (sore foot and all). I'm in!

    I'm still not running C25K. Yesterday I did some intervals, and ended up hobbling around last night. Healing an injury takes forever! What got me going again was a commitment to 15 minutes per day, minimum. 15 minutes of anything: walking, running, elliptical, power yoga, gentle yoga, jumping jacks, crunches. Anything for at least 15 consecutive minutes. I'm currently on day 14 of my second 30 days (so really day 44). I feel much better, even though I'm not pushing myself like before. But 15 minutes of something is better than days and days of nothing.

    So that's my two cents. No matter what you choose to do, I will cheer you on!

    Dont give up - I see the fighter in you ;)

    MAybe try some Pilates? Blogilates? Any type of floor workouts to get you by?? I'll try to think of anything I can that doesnt require the wearing of tennis shoes :)
