I need to not buy some foods

My muscle aches from TRX and spinning have finally abated after three days. I finished off the entire (mercifully small) carton of chocolate cream cheese today. I could not think of anything else all day until it was all eaten over the course of the day. A waste of calories and money. I think I will wait to buy it again until I lose 10 pounds.

    Thank you both for your comments! My husband and I talked this morning about how I love to buy favorite treats to keep me motivated. Works great because of two big factors: we are on a very tight food budget, so I can't buy more than 1-3 small items, and we only go shopping once a week. The portion sizes of food at grocery stores have gotten so small, I am eating surprisingly little over the course of a week. And once my treat is gone (I sometimes have nothing after 2-3 days lol) there is no more. I do not have a car and the nearest grocery is a four mile round trip walking, so I cannot run out for cravings. Trying to make lemonade out of tough times; I am using these to help me lose weight! I love chocolate, chocolate cream cheese, figs, spinach dip, and avocados among other things. I time buying these on sale to keep the cost down, but still can buy very little.

    I can't have any food around me that will set off cravings.
    I had to purge the house of all foods not allowed on my program.
    Luckily for my husband the crap he eats doesn't tempt me!

    I do the same thing with temptation. My attitude is that I'll just eat all of it so it won't be here to tempt me. Great thinking, huh! I have to just not have it around. It sounds like you're doing great with your exercise program, though. emoticon
