My basic goal and reward structure is set at every 3% loss of body weight. Each subsequent 3% is based on the new weight, so that slightly less actual weight is needed to be lost to reach the next 3%. I did it this way since weight usually comes off slower the closer to goal one is, and I didn't want to wait too long for each goal by keeping them at a set weight interval.
Anyway, in addition to these 3% increments, I'm also celebrating 5, 10, 15, 20, 25% of my starting weight, and of course my final goal (which is close to 30% but not quite).
So, in this first month, I've already reached my first three goals! 3%, 5% and the second 3%!
At my first 3%, I was going to give myself a new water bottle. I ended up getting two

. One minimalist and one maximalist - if that is a word:
The one on the right folds when empty and takes hardly any space:
I'm sceptical about its durability, but it may surprise me with lasting a long time.
My second reward at 5% was a new top. However, I didn't feel enough difference to inspire me to go clothes shopping, so I changed it to a pepper grinder. I've wanted to get a good one for a while so this was a good opportunity. I looked at many and finally settled on a classic, medium Peugeot grinder in dark brown. Sometimes little things like this makes cooking more fun:
The third reward was putting aside a little money for my big shopping spree when I reach goal. I didn't take any picture of the green though
The next goal is quite a bit further away so now, perseverance is of essence...
