Happy March everyone!
So far this month has been "eh"
Lent is going well. Obviously, I'm tempted. But I'm also learning how much "stuff" I get when I'm out and about, and how much I add to the grocery cart that ISN'T on the list and aren't even groceries! I can tell ya, I've been tested though! I don't think my mail box has ever been so full of coupons and sale ads!
This past weekend DH & I were supposed to go out for our anniversary. However, DH ended up working all dang weekend, so that nixed that. BOOO! We'll still go out sometime, just not sure if we'll go to the same place or when we'll go.
For March, I joined the March Madness Challenge set up by our very own MOST AWESOME Leader MJ!!! It's a good one, so I suggest ya sign up! I signed up to do the following:
add three min to my workouts 3x's a week (this will bring me to a solid 25 min on the elliptical 3x's a week) and adding walking 3 miles each week. I really need to get back to walking. It's great exercise and it keeps the elliptical from making my butt bigger (IT HAPPENS!!!)
Also signed up to stay in my food ranges atleast 3x's a week. I REALLY struggle with tracking, so I'm hoping I can really stick with this, and lastly, there were several choices for sparking in general. I decided to do them all! Comment on pages, posts & blog!
Happy March! Let's make this a fresh start!
Added note on Elliptical: It's a bit of a story, but yes, the elliptical DOES make your butt bigger. Not permanently, but for awhile. It builds the muscle before it starts losing the fat. I was NOT a happy camper when I figured that out a few years ago. haha..
