Getting it Back!

Motivation is hard to keep around at ALL times. Luckily a lot of my Spark Friends have been a GREAT help and I have been looking like a crazy gal for motivation everywhere, in every nook and cranny for it! I think I am finding bits and pieces of it, which is good because I know with each new day I will have more of it. I woke up today and did my four mile walk with my sister (later in the day I rode my bike for a mile..woohooo!).
My sister and I are on this weight loss journey kind of together, but we some how always seem to have issues (mostly her). Everything seems to upset her and we end up fighting so she ditches our workouts and that's that, no more. However, that isn't enough for me to stop doing my own thing. If she quits, she isn't quitting on me, or her quitting isn't affecting me. The only person she affects is herself. I don't expect her to hold my hand to workout, however she does. I know that the only person I have to answer to for not working out is MYSELF and no one else. I am responsible for this body I was given, however she tries to be the victim and the throws a whole guilt trip...yet what can I do she's my sister. I want her to be successful, but with her it can be a bit stressful because I feel like I have to walk her through all of this, while I hold her hand. If you knew me a bit more and my family you would understand me a little better. Yet, right now I probably totally sound like the biggest B!t(#! I really am not though, I love helping people and encouraging them...my sister is just something else haha! I mean, I love her regardless and I'm going to help her as much as I can. That motivation has to be strong enough for the both of us, and for me to share on here! emoticon

It sounds like you two are just in very different places mentally and emotionally on this whole weight loss/fitness path. It sounds like you're on the right track, though, and I hope she synchs up soon!
