Running + Strength = HURT!

I've been doing good running every day, but yesterday I did a lower body strength workout and today I was absolutely shot on the treadmill. I could barely run for 2 min. at a time. That was really discouraging after running for 12 min. straight the day before. It makes me wonder if I can run and do strength training at the same time. Or maybe I should just alternate days. Or maybe just have a light run the day after my lower body strength day. I guess I'll have to experiment to see what works for me.
On a brighter note…, yesterday I saved up a couple hundred calories because I knew I was going to have cake last night. But after I ate it all that sugar make me sick! That's progress my friends! I guess my sweet tooth can be satisfied with a lot less now. Yea!
