Life is GOOD!!

I know most of my spark friends are aware of my Immune disorder but most of you don't know that I was a Medical Technologist for 23yrs. I have struggled with my identity and my ability to feel like a major part of society and a working partner with my husband. Since my diagnosis with Dermatomyositis 8 yrs ago I have not been able to perform my job as a Med Tech thus, quitting the job I loved. However, its amazing how God works in your life. In 1998, 6yrs before my diagnosis I became a certified wedding planner and love , love , love that job. But the demand on my stamina was huge so I sort of took a back seat and just began focusing on my linen rentals and chocolate fountain rentals. While I do get some satisfaction in this capacity(i'm a helper) it is not lucrative enough for me to feel like I am contributing to my household. Yes, I know I get my medical disability but it's really not what I enjoy. Well, once again, I feel like God put an opportunity in my sight and I am excited and scared to commit. I have met a friend here and we have soo much in common and we are both so positive and I have spoken with her about my frustration at not being able to work. Well, She is a Executive Director with Mary Kay Cosmetics and she suggested I take a look into that. I have and I am excited to get started. I am hoping alot of my friends from all over the states will be interested in ordering their products from me. I have it set up where I can ship the products to my clients for only $5. This is awesome for me because I have lived all over the place and have friends all over the place. So I have prayed and prayed about it and I think I am headed in the right direction. God is guiding me and I am jumping in with both feet. Wish me luck Sparkies..
