Trying To Get Back In The Groove

It was hot but not as humid over the weekend, even into Monday - only in the mid 80s. Today it is humid and hot again though.
Saturday my son was off work and went to a friend's house. We had planned to take the air conditioner in for repair but they were not at the repair shop so we drove the 60 miles to my MIL's and priced some more stuff. My hubby is sick of it and he moaned and groaned and begged to quit and I ignored him and we pushed on. We stayed until we were half starved - no lunch again. I wanted to stay and get the garage done at least but he was crabby and insisted on leaving at 6 P.M. Low blood sugar does that to you. LOL. We ate at Backyard Burger as he could not make it home.
Sunday hubby and I got some more work done outside at home. We ended up soaked but not half dead from dehydration as we often are. He fixed the back door and straightened up the pole barn some. I cleaned the new grill, washed a teak lounger, watered the flower pots and raised beds close to the house, burned the trash, filled the feeders and bird baths. We moved the old grill to it's new spot and we cleaned it.
Monday I spent 5.5 hours thoroughly cleaning the screen room. It's 11 x 22 feet long. I took all the furniture out except for the wicker dinette table which is heavy. I washed everything and put it back. I found 2 dead mice and tons of spiders. I was soaked. Hubby still needs to clean the spa out. It's huge and deep and I don't like to get in it when no one is home. We went to Tractor Supply when hubby got off work. Hubby needs a weed eater and is shopping for one. We ate at Burger King and then went and got some Black Raspberry ice cream. We sat in the screen room last night. Hubby loved it. It is so nice in there at night.
Today my son was off and we did 4 loads of laundry. It gets done so much faster with the new washer and dryer. When we do it in the pole barn it takes all day. We get it done in half the time. I made a huge crock pot full of Italian beef.
I am getting my exercise in consistently again - 5-6 miles a day. When I'm home I'm eating better too.
