Stress Journal Entry 3

Can't believe I've actually kept up with this!

Friday and Saturday are always the most stressful days at work, but like I said earlier I'm really good at separating myself from my work life. I've noticed that when I'm stressed, I tend to get more aggravated than I did when I was younger... Not really sure what to think about that. Moving on, keeping the house clean is much less stressful than letting it get dirty! I've been trying to pick up things around the house when I see them. I know there are still a couple of problem areas, but it's nowhere near as messy as it has been! The SO and I will probably have a cleaning day on Wednesday. :)

Taking a leave from the stress part of my blog, I've stayed on track for almost the whole week! This is seriously better than I've ever done before. I know it doesn't seem like much, but I'm proud of myself (even though the scale told me that I had gained weight... ugh!!!) It hasn't even been that hard. I can feel the exercise in my legs a lot, they're slightly tired and a little achy, but other than that, I feel like I have more energy than usual. I've been told that it takes 21 days to make a habit... 16 more to go, then!

    Good for you - I've started to try and get a handle on my stress by looking for a new job....and hopefully moving. Of course, I've let stress run my life all week. Sounds like you are really doing weel.
