Physical Therapy

So I hurt my back. I wasn't even doing anything heroic, that's the sad part! I found a fantastic place for PT....I will be going 3 times per week for the next month. It's a multi-faceted approach...first I get a chirpractic adjustment, then I spend about 20 minutes with a Physical Therapist doing stretching and eventually strength training, then electric shock therapy followed by massage. I'm so glad they finish with massage....it makes the rest of the work worth it! I've only gone twice and already I can feel major improvement ;) I'll let you know how it goes!

I also hurt my back a couple of years ago and required physical therapy. I hurt it by lifting in incorrect form for years, so again nothing heroic or even fun. I ended my PT by transitioning to a personal trainer for a few months at my gym before going back to regular exercise classes. Sounds like you have made the right choices for recovery. Good luck.
