I am still getting used to my new work routine and found it difficult to get on spark to be an active member of my challenge community. I hope to do better next week!

Bonus Challenge:
1. From the article The Mix 'N Match Workout, I learned that strength training routines should be changed every 4-6 weeks. Before reading the article I did not know the suggested time period for changing strength training exercises. I need to update my lower body strength training!

2. Strength Training: Good for Muscles, Great for Bones
Strength training is important for strong bones. This is especially important for me since osteoporosis runs in my family!

3. You Can Progress to a Pull Up
Start with 25% of your body weight while sitting on the lat machine then progress to 50% standing, then 75% standing and finally regular pull ups. Hopefully I will be able to do a pull up by my birthday in February!

4. Toning vs. Bulking Up: The Real Facts
Lifting heavy weights doesn't make you bulk up - it just tones you up faster!
