TOPS Fall Rally/I'm Still Here

Sunday, November 11, 2012

Hi everyone. I know it's been awhile since I've posted an update, posted on forums or interacted with any of you. I apologize. I've been sick for awhile. A few weeks ago I came down with a cold. I still have a stubborn cough that just won't go away. Thank you all for the well wishes. Though it seems I've been inactive, I've actually been logging onto SparkPeople every day.

Massachusetts TOPS Fall Rally was awesome. I won an award for the Happy Camper category. It was embarrassing though because it was for a 3lb loss over the summer. The announcer announced the weight I lost as I walked across the stage. If I had known it was for 3 lbs, I would have opted out.

I am so proud of my boyfriend. He was one of three people who won an award for consistency or the Straight and Narrow category. He lost weight every week throughout the summer without a single gain or turtle. He also won an award in the Happy Camper category. He lost the most weight out of six men. He lost over 20 lbs. To date, he has lost over 40 lbs since May 23 of this year. My chapter and I keep saying he's going to be King in 2014.

There was a man at Rally who just last week reached 100 lbs lost in one year. He told everyone he logs all his meals and exercise on SparkPeople. I thought that was so awesome. I really wish I had remembered to ask for his Spark name so I could add him as a friend. It was so great listening to him talk about how he started walking and is now running many miles.

I can't wait for SRD in April. It is 50s themed. I'm going to wear a poodle skirt.

If you would like to know more about TOPS, please send me a message.
