Anxiously awaiting my new (non-pink) toy!!!

So my Polar FT60 heart rate monitor decided to push up the daisies on me. Long story short, even with 3 battery changes (yes I actually went to the store three times to buy batteries thinking maybe the batteries were on the shelf too long, maybe try a different brand...) anyhoo, it's just... Dead.



For me, one of my biggest "motivations" is to come home and jot down all my 'stats' for my workout (I have a ridiculous ocd-esque excel spreadsheet even), so I was TOTALLY BUMMED that it would take a whole two days for my newly-ordered (thank you amazon & 2nd day shipping!) toy to arrive.

I still went to Zumba yesterday, but man my wrist felt naked. I really felt like so much of my motivation was gone! (As for my calorie burn, I just averaged the last three classes for this particular instructor and used that number)

ANYHOO, wondering if anyone else is a heart rate monitor affectinado, and if anyone else has a Polar FT80 (which is the new model I just bought) - it appears to have lots of bells and whistles (I give myself like, 3 months before i can figure them all out haha)



The SAD part about it though, apparently a more 'serious' HRM only comes in 'serious' colors... no more pretty pink for me.



But for now, I'm ANXIOUSLY AWAITING MY NEW TOY!!!



I can't WAIT to be able to play with my new shiny when it gets here, that will triple my motivation for sure!
