Life goes on without the banana bread

And so the banana bread is gone! I am so glad. PHEW!
Tomorrow we are going to join the Community Center in the neighboring town. i am so excited for this. If I ever had ANY doubt about exercise and maintaining weight loss, this 8 week period of time with NONE has proved to me that it is VITAL to weight loss maintenance. I already feel better knowing that we are going to do this. Sure it is an added expense to our already stretched budget, but it is so important. Exercise, for me, is important both physically and mentally. It is my release. And as a family, it is so important. Even my husband and my 5 and 7 year old girlies seem to be missing this part of our lives. Exercise brought me balance. It grounded me.
So my plan for the next few weeks is to continue to watch what I am eating (portion control y'all.... and MUCH healthier choices) and to develop a new routine. This entire move has left me "homesick", for everything. My old home, my old job, my old friends, and my old routine. So it will be important for me to get back on track and discover what will work for me. Looking forward to getting back some of the familiar.
